This programme is delivered by TAFE New Zealand and is a 48-credit course. It takes approximately 480 hours to complete. This is equivalent to about 10 hours of study per week. It is fully funded for New Zealand citizens and residents. Students must have full support from their managers to enroll in the programme. They must also have regular access to a computer and possess a reasonable amount of relevant workplace experience.

Academic Leadership Development Programme
The Academic Leadership Development Programme in Christchurch is designed to prepare future leaders for roles that require high-level knowledge and skills. This programme, named after Kate Edger, is open to academic women at any stage of their careers. It runs over three days, and aims to build confidence and academic identity. It also offers the opportunity to join a national network of academic women. Two of these programmes are held annually, in August and November, at the Te Manahua University.
